Hello, and a very warm welcome to my little shop!

As you may have guessed, my name is Shona, and I have a confession. I am a recovering hoarder.

Like so many people I have been influenced into developing some terrible overconsumption habits, and as such have ended up with a lot of "stuff". Since I am like a magpie and attracted to shiny objects, much of this stuff is jewellery. Of course over the years some has broken, or my style has changed and many pieces have become something I no longer wear. 

I have spent the last year decluttering my home and my life and realised that so much just goes to waste. I looked at a layered necklace with a broken clasp and got to thinking: what if I reworked all these lovely little charms into something I could enjoy again? And so I did, making a matching earring and necklace set. This habit continued, and Upcycled by Shona was born. 

In my store you will find unique pieces, all using elements of unwanted or broken jewellery and giving them a new lease of life.
